Malco hand seamers, with cast zinc jaws, are gentle on painted or coated metal surfaces. They are ideal for making crisp, precise bends and seams on aluminum roof flashing, coil, or fascia. The jaws are depth-graded in 1/4" (6.35 mm) increments up to a maximum bend depth of 2" (50.8 mm). The jaws of these large cast seamers are curved to provide a firm, even grip across their entire width, even on very light materials. The wide surface area covered by this tool is also useful for limited flattening/straightening work on thin painted steel, including the edges of body panels. Their robust construction ensures a long, reliable life under normal use. These tools also feature rust-resistant nickel plating.
Malco hand seamers, with their cast zinc jaws, also feature RedLine ergonomic handle technology. The handle opening, designed to fit the natural force of the hand, maximizes the powerful 7:1 mechanical advantage of the leveraged head-to-handle linkage. The comfortable handle contours, non-slip insert, spring action, and thumb-operated latch ensure a natural fit and comfortable one-handed grip, wherever you are.
