The EC28M Quiet Air Compressor is the first in Metabo HPT's low-noise range. At only 59 dB, it's quiet enough for a normal conversation to take place comfortably while it's running. It features an oil-free industrial pump for high durability and low maintenance, along with a 2.8 A direct drive induction motor for extended life. This motor is protected by an overload protection circuit that cuts power in case of a surge. Extremely compact and weighing only 25.2 lbs, the EC28M has an ergonomic rubber carrying handle for easy transport around any job site. Its steel frame protects the factory-installed universal quick coupler and industrial gauges. This quiet compressor is ready to use right out of the box and requires no setup.
