By selecting Mode 4, the AUTO SHUT-OFF™ control will not apply more than 35 ft-lbs of torque for hand-tightening applications to prevent overtightening. Mode 4 also includes a bolt removal control that provides maximum output torque, then decreases RPM once the bolt is loosened to prevent fastener drops.
